I discovered this light blue tree frog in my backyard on October 15, 2016. I went in my house to bring out a family member to see it. It jumped about two feet and landed against my riding mower tire. I could see it's underbelly for a moment and it was almost white in color. I let it be for the night. I sent a small photo to Davidson College and they replied that there was no tree frog of this color morph documented in any literature. They encouraged me to locate it and bring it in but I've yet to see it again. I still look whenever I'm outside. I feel like it was a once in a lifetime event.
