I was commissioned to paint this old truck from a photo. The road and the background were changed from the original photo. I thought this background with a barn, road and clouds would allow the focus to be more on the vehicle. Chrome is always a joy to paint and a the reflections are a challenge too! But with oils the effect is always fun for me as a painter. The painting was eventually presented to a father from his son here in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.
