Artist's Description

I have always been interested in pirates. The first book I read was Treasure Island. I also read that book to my son when he was young. I wanted to paint Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge traveling under a full moon. I tried to imagine how it would look to someone on shore or in another vessel. I finished this painting on July 23, 2016.
