I used gouache paint for this city scene of Louisville, Kentucky. I wanted to include the skyline, bridge, boat, and sun while limiting detail. Red is for the University of Louisville while blue acknowledges the fans of UK living in Louisville. The Kentucky Derby is always the first Saturday in May.
