I painted this for a gentleman who owned this truck. I learned that the ghost flames were very important to him and my challenge was to represent these accurately on canvas. Thankfully he was another happy customer.
I'm a painter using oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and more. Watch me paint on YouTube at @artiststacycbottoms. I started painting at a young age after visiting an art museum for painting lessons. My grandparent's farm provided the inspiration for my landscapes and transportation art. After high school I joined the Marines for tuition, and I became a rifle range instructor. That's when I realized how much I enjoyed teaching. Years later I completed my M.A. in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
