Artist's Description

I painted this image of a person mowing the yard. I painted this from the perspective of an ant or snake that might be escaping from the mower. I used digital painting tools with ink. This would look nice on a t-shirt, coffee mug or as a print.

My grandparent's farm provided the inspiration for my landscapes and transportation art. After high school I joined the Marines for tuition, and I became a rifle range instructor. That's when I realized how much I enjoyed teaching. Years later I completed my M.A. in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. The Hickory Museum of Art has exhibited my paintings and I exhibit my art online. I've also created art for a published children's book.
