I painted this old truck after seeing it resting out in a field. It was near Rimer Auto Salvage in North Carolina. I used watercolors to get the type of effect that I wanted for the rust. The truck was missing a wheel but I think that actually adds character to it. Have to wonder about all the places it traveled and the work that this old truck has done over the years. I think it is a 1955. The original painting is for sale and prints are also affordable.

Very nice. Maybe 1958, first year automakers introduced twin headlights. Suddenly they were all the rage -- I think all cars had them. Nice watercolor.
